Beijing Aerospace Power Research Institute (Aerospace 11) The Fluid and Rotating Machinery Business Unit tackles high-pressure dissolved feed pumps for large-scale PTA installations and recently proposed the design of the GSB-W7 600kW high-speed pump.
The high-pressure dissolved feed pump is the core equipment of PTA equipment. At present, most of the large-scale PTA installations under construction in China have adopted the HMP3000 high-speed pump manufactured by Sundyne Company of the United States. The maximum power is 597kW, the maximum head is 3048m, and the maximum flow is 114m3/ h. At present, domestic can not produce the same level of high-speed pumps, equipment dependent on imports, expensive and long lead times, after-sales service can not meet the needs of the timeliness. To this end, the Aerospace 11 Fluid and Rotating Machinery Business Unit conducted research on the basis of the mature technology of its GSB-W5 series of high-speed pumps, and proposed a design plan for the more powerful GSB-W7 600kW high-speed pump. After the high-speed pump has been successfully developed, it can be used not only in the PTA industry, but also as a feed pump, a water injection pump and an lean liquid pump in other petrochemical devices such as hydrocracking and hydrofining plants, and a circulation pump in a coal oil plant. Feeder pumps for methyl ethyl ketone units, etc.
