Bohai Piston Becomes an Excellent Supplier of GE

On March 9, 2018, the Bohai Pistons was included in the "Excellent Supplier Award" at the GE Global Suppliers Conference held at the Jenbach factory in Austria. The conference invited more than 240 participants from 100 suppliers worldwide.

The meeting informed the 2017 GE's distributed energy operation performance, company strategy and future development direction. Five excellent suppliers were selected from all suppliers for recognition, including two Chinese suppliers including Bohai Pistons. .

GE Distributed Energy has two plants in the United States, the Waukesha plant in the United States and the Jenbach plant in Austria, producing different gas-fired generator sets. The Bohai Pistons first started cooperation with the Waukesha plant in the United States. For a long time, the Bohai Pistons attached great importance to the GE project and the project team worked tirelessly to work hard. In 2017, several piston products of the company were supplied in batches at the Waukesha plant in the United States, which effectively promoted the development of the company's ship electric piston business. Leaders of GE expressed high appreciation for the supply of engine core parts by Chinese suppliers in batches, and hope that the Bohai Pistons will enter the Jenbacher factory's supply system in the near future.
