China's first 1000kV class shunt reactor one-pass type test

On February 13, 2008, 240Mvar/1000kV high-voltage shunt reactors with independent design and self-manufacturing in China, the world's highest voltage level and largest capacity, passed the type test in Xi'an, marking the progress of China's UHV AC project construction. A major breakthrough was made in independent innovation in the equipment manufacturing industry. The product is developed for the UHV AC test demonstration project and represents the highest level of international high voltage transformer product manufacturing. It will be installed at Nanyang Switch Station.

The reactor was supervised by the China Electric Power Research Institute. On February 7-13, 2008 (New Year's Day to the seventh day of the seventh year), on the occasion of the National People's Celebration of the Spring Festival, Li Guangfan, the deputy chief engineer of the hospital, personally led the supervisors of the High Voltage Institute, Li Bo, Wang Mengyun, Li Jinzhong, Zhao Zhigang, Cheng Haochao and so on went to Xi'an to witness the whole process of type test of 1000kV reactor. State-owned power grid company UHV Construction Department and other domestic and foreign industry experts and representatives witnessed the test.

After 7 days of intense and orderly testing, the first 1000kV/240Mvar shunt reactor passed all factory tests and type test items at one time. The test results show that the performance indicators of the products fully meet the engineering requirements, and the key indicators such as insulation withstand capability and partial discharge, temperature rise and noise have reached the advanced level of international similar products, and have independently developed the main equipment of China UHV transmission and transformation. New milestone.

In the supervision work of UHV transformer/parallel reactor in the high voltage of our hospital, we closely built the quality objectives and equipment characteristics of the UHV engineering equipment, and established the technical supervision according to the instructions and requirements of the supervisory team and the supervision office.
