French car supplier Actuaplast sets up new plant in China and U.S.

Actuaplast, a well-known French auto injection molder, has completed a production plant in Dongguan, Guangdong, and plans to open a new plant in the Detroit area of ​​the United States.

The new plant in China is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise and Actuaplast controls 100% of the shares. The factory currently has about 50 employees.

Company CEO Oronan Pérennou stated that it will lease a 1,500-square-meter plant in Detroit and start production. It currently has 10 employees in the United States.

Actuaplast's headquarters is located in the Saint-Évarzec region of northwestern France, and 80% of its products serve the automotive industry, including injection-molded and blow-molded parts under the hood.

The company uses PA, TPE and polyurethane to produce parts and components. The company's production area is 2,600 square meters, and its mechanical equipment is provided by Engel, Netstal and Sandretto. The clamping force ranges from 40 to 610 tons.

Ronan Pérennou revealed that with the expansion of the two major markets in China and the United States, Actuaplast’s revenue will reach 10 million euros this year. The company has 35% of its revenue from exports.
