Great Wall Motor 1.5T Engine Mass Production

A few days ago, at the China Automotive Core Technology Summit Forum, a major breakthrough was made in China's own-brand engine: Great Wall 1.5T turbocharged engine independently developed by Great Wall Automotive Research Institute was successfully mass-produced, and Chengdu Tengyi C50 debuted at the Auto Show. With this power, it will also be equipped with follow-up products such as Haval H6, and full application is just around the corner. According to the mass production plan, it is planned to produce and sell 8,000 units in 2011. By 2016, it will achieve a total production and sales of 1.2 million units. After reaching production and operation, annual sales revenue will reach 2.8 billion yuan.

Great Wall 1.5T turbocharged engine "double breakthrough" is not only the domestic first-generation 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, but also the first domestic aluminum alloy cylinder booster gasoline engine. Compared with the engine with the same displacement, because the engine is used in the cylinder, cylinder head, intake manifold made of aluminum alloy material, cylinder head cover using plastic material measures, so that the weight of the whole machine dropped by 20%, the entire vehicle fuel consumption decreased 16% effectively improved vehicle economy. At the same time, its power is increased by 25.6%, torque is increased by 36.2%, and it can easily reach the power and torque of 1.8L engine, which can significantly achieve better power performance and fuel economy.
