Harris wins Daewoo Shipbuilding Integrated Communication System Contract

Recently, Harris CapRock Communications, a global provider of remote and harsh environmental communications solutions, signed a multi-year contract with Daewoo Shipbuilding to provide an integrated communications support solution for the Mafumeira Sul project on the Angolan coast of West Africa.
Under the contract, Harris CapRock will provide all communication system equipment and design, integration and testing prior to deployment, and install cables and commissioning support at multiple production sites.
The Mafumeira Sul project is operated by a world-renowned exploration and production facility, including multiple production facilities, 15 miles off the coast and 200 feet deep.
