Tao Junfa said that China's high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizer industry is a strategic and resource-based industry related to the sustainable development of agriculture and has always been highly valued by the country. During the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" and "Ninth Five-Year Plan" period, the state used foreign capital and introduced advanced foreign technology to build a number of large-scale high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizer enterprises. After these enterprises were put into production, they made great contributions to the stable development of China's agriculture.

From the end of the last century, Yunnan began to develop high concentrations of phosphorus compound fertilizer. The province relies on the high-quality phosphate mineral resources in the Dianchi Lake Area, the prior practice of companies such as Yunnan Sanhuan Chemical Company, domestic design institutes to absorb and innovate the technological achievements of imported technologies, and the equipment and materials independently developed and co-developed by domestic equipment manufacturers. It has completed and put into operation 6 sets of domestic large-scale high-concentration phosphorus compound fertilizer devices, which were built in Yunnan Sanhuan Chemical Company and Yunnan Furui Chemical Company.

During the construction of the above-mentioned 6 large-scale installations, breakthroughs were made in the localization of equipment. Among them, regarding the types of equipment, the domestic production of Sulfur-Based Sulfuric Acid and Wet-Process Phosphoric Acid plants is the highest, and the Sulfur-Based Sulfuric Acid Plant only introduces the “Quality” of vanadium catalysts and fiber demisters in the world today; the wet-process phosphoric acid plant In addition to the low flash slurry pump and some of the extraction and agitation paddles, localization is basically achieved. However, the equipment required for a large-scale diammonium phosphate plant is slightly more than the equipment required for the production of sulfuric acid and wet-process phosphoric acid. It is the material return and drying bucket, crusher, screening machine, quarter valve, granulator and drying exhaust fan.

Yunnan Sanhuan Chemical's 300,000 tons/year wet-process phosphoric acid plant and 600,000 tons/year diammonium phosphate unit have been operating normally for nearly 3 years, and the 600,000-ton/year sulfur-based sulfuric acid plant has also been operating normally for a year and a half; Rui Chemical's 300,000 tons/year wet-process phosphoric acid plant, 600,000 tons/year diammonium phosphate plant, and 800,000 tons/year sulfur-based sulfuric acid plant have been put into operation. From the operating status of these 6 large-scale installations, the overall technology and management level of the installation has reached the international level and is close to the world's advanced level, with the exception of the recovery and utilization of sulfuric acid and low-temperature heat energy.

With the construction of follow-up large-scale installations of Yunnan Sanhuan Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Furui Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., and the potential tapping and transformation of existing large- and medium-sized equipment, it is estimated that around 2008, large-scale equipment production capacity will increase significantly. Among them, large sulfuric acid plant capacity is expected to reach 4 million tons/year, accounting for 40% of total production capacity; large wet-process phosphoric acid plant capacity will reach 2 million tons/year, accounting for 60% of total production capacity; large-scale high-concentration phosphate compound fertilizer plant The production capacity will reach 4 million tons/year, accounting for 50% of the total production capacity. It is predicted that by 2010, the annual output of sulfuric acid is expected to exceed 9 million tons, of which large-scale devices account for 45%; annual output of wet-process phosphoric acid is expected to exceed 3 million tons, of which large-scale devices account for 67%; annual production of high-concentration phosphorus compound fertilizer can be Expected to exceed 7 million tons, of which large-scale devices accounted for 57%. By then, the concentration of high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizers, mainly large-scale plants, will be significantly increased, and a national-level phosphate and compound fertilizer base will be basically formed. If the goal of low-temperature heat recovery and utilization of sulfuric acid can be realized as scheduled, the comprehensive competitiveness of the high-density phosphorus and compound fertilizer industry in Yunnan will increase significantly.

From the practice of localization of large-scale high-concentration Phosphate Compound Fertilizer Plants in Yunnan in recent years, preliminary results have been achieved. However, to achieve real localization of large-scale high-concentration Phosphate Compound Fertilizer Plants, a great deal of hard work remains to be completed. Therefore, Tao Junfa suggested that relevant domestic parties should organize their efforts to do the following work on the existing basis:

First of all, engineering companies should step up the development of software packages with independent intellectual property rights based on the digestion and absorption of foreign advanced technologies and seriously sum up domestic practical experience, and further optimize the detailed design to make it approach or reach the international advanced level; secondly, equipment manufacturing. Enterprises should strengthen cooperation with the use units, take effective measures as soon as possible to improve the localized equipment and materials that have been put into operation, actively eliminate defects, improve technical standards, and improve the quality of operations. Third, relevant units should mobilize social forces and organize joint research. Develop equipment and materials that have not yet been made domestically to realize the localization of all equipment materials as soon as possible.
