According to reports, the most advanced domestic laser cutting equipment developed by China National Engineering and Technology Laser Corporation, which is a high-power wide-format thick-plate CNC laser cutting machine, is about to apply for acceptance by the state. The equipment has complete independent intellectual property rights, compared with similar foreign equipment. The price is one-third lower.

It is reported that this device is one of the topics of the National Science and Technology Major Project “High-end CNC Machine Tools and Technology Manufacturing Equipment” project. It is developed by Wuhan Falilai Cutting System Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Industrial Engineering Laser Corporation. Its cutting width exceeded 4.5 meters and its thickness exceeded 20 millimeters, reaching the national advanced level. As of June of this year, the project has obtained 14 patents, the direct application of the output value of 210 million yuan, and exports of 2 million US dollars. At present, the product is applied in 65 large-scale enterprises such as Sany Heavy Industry, Dongfang Electric, Xugong Group, and CNR Group, and is exported to three countries.

It is understood that this cutting machine will change the lack of core technology in China's advanced manufacturing industry, and the key laser equipment will basically rely on imports.
