Maoming Petrochemical successfully completed diesel quality upgrade
On April 23, 2013, 6,763 tons of general diesel oil in the first tank of the Maoming Petrochemical Refinery was sent to various provinces and cities in the southwest, indicating that Maoming Petrochemical successfully completed the normal diesel quality upgrade work. As of April 30, Maoming Petrochemical Factory upgraded to 63,000 tons of standard diesel fuel of the State III standard. In May, the company is expected to produce 550,000 tons of diesel fuel. Apart from the 50,000 tons of high-sulfur oil needed by the market, the remaining 91% of the diesel will be upgraded.
Since 2011, Maoming Petrochemical has already had the ability to produce standard diesel fuel in some countries. According to the requirements of the China Petrochemical Corporation, on May 1, 2013, all diesel fuel produced must meet the National III standard, that is, the sulfur content of ordinary diesel fuel should be reduced from 2000 PPM of the original State II to 350 PPM of the State III. Maoming Petrochemical prepared in advance to develop a detailed diesel quality upgrade program to ensure that the full implementation of diesel quality upgrade before May 1.
As early as December of last year, Maoming Petrochemical conducted an ultra-deep hydrodesulfurization reform of the No. 2 diesel hydrogenation plant to meet the conditions for the production of the country's III diesel oil. In March of this year, they overcame the difficulty of balancing the hydrogen balance of the entire plant after the start of the new hydrocracking unit, carefully measured, optimized and tackled the problem, increased the capacity of the continuous reformer unit to 175 tons/hour, and significantly increased the production of hydrogen, ensuring new In the normal operation of the hydrocracking unit, the No. 2 diesel hydrogenation unit was successfully used to increase diesel production.
Another major difficulty in diesel quality upgrades is how to separate the high sulfur and low sulfur diesel systems. In April, they implemented a technical transformation of “Dynamic Fuel Tank Adaptation to National III Diesel Fuel Production†to separate the low-sulfur and high-sulfur diesel systems, which solved the problem of low- and high-sulfur diesel dedicated production and delivery.
They also seriously formulated the tank replacement program, organized the State III ordinary diesel blending tanks, and spared no effort to complete the delivery of the inventory II regular diesel, so that one empty can be quickly treated as the State III diesel tank . In mid-to-late April, only the remaining tanks of the State II diesel fuel in the 8 tanks in the diesel tank area were emptied in 5 days, and they received the State III Puchai, and were added, blended, and analyzed. On April 23, the first tank of 6,763 tons of regular diesel fuel that complied with the State III standard was delivered smoothly, marking Maoming Petrochemical's overall production of diesel fuel into the State III era.
