According to Song Xiaohui, the current development trend and characteristics of the global testing equipment industry are: mergers and acquisitions expansion, major changes in the layout of the industry, mainly in the European and American equipment companies in the layoffs, and actively enter Brazil, Russia, India and China as the representative Emerging markets; layout and development of diagnostic business markets, currently five of the global instrument companies TOP10 are involved in the diagnostic business; emphasis on high-end product design.
The data shows that China's large-scale high-end equipment and equipment are almost all dependent on imports, and the total amount of imported testing instruments is close to 50% of the total output value of China's test instrument industry. The report pointed out that at present, China's four types of typical testing instruments show that the technical indicators of high-end equipment lag behind foreign products, high-end equipment, key technologies and components rely heavily on imports, low-end instruments account for a large proportion of low-value, high-quality, homogeneous products .
(1) China is the largest, most complete and most comprehensive country in the physical testing instrument and equipment industry in developing countries, achieving an annual growth rate of around 20% for four years in a row, and experiencing a simple introduction of technology—joint venture—control—sole proprietorship—merger The overall development process has a certain degree of development, but there is a 10-15 year gap with developed countries.
(2) Domestic chemical analysis instruments have a certain gap with international similar products in terms of technical level, automation, intelligence, and completeness, etc. The import volume is high for many years, with medium and high grade products accounting for more than 40%. The demand for major user departments such as chemicals, metallurgy, and electricity is huge.
(3) All types of non-destructive testing instruments and equipment have insufficient development and capability. High-end technology has not made breakthroughs. The related products are blank. The middle and low-end technical products are in the aspects of stability, precision, signal to noise ratio, etc., and similar foreign products. There is a clear gap.
(4) In recent years, there has been a large amount of domestic demand for various kinds of testing machines, which has led to a continuous increase in the number of domestic testing machine manufacturing enterprises; in 2010, there were already more than 5.9 billion yuan in market sales of 100 enterprises above the scale of the industry. Exports are close to 100 million U.S. dollars, but most of the companies are small in size; key components rely on imports, and low-price competition is serious.
In addition, Song Xiaohui pointed out that at present, the material testing equipment industry also shows serious duplication of construction, intensified vicious competition in the market, low conversion rate of scientific research products, lack of qualified personnel, insufficient support for professionals, poor quality and process design, poor industrial support capabilities, etc. Features.
In view of the above issues, Song Xiaohui suggested that for high-end testing equipment, it is hoped that the national science and technology department will make special investments and organize technological research. For the mid-end inspection equipment, the relevant national departments can set up special funds to organize the improvement of technology and reliability; Testing equipment, and hope that the relevant state departments to lead the development of incentives to guide and help companies to adjust the structure and promote business transformation.
