On December 9 , Zhenhua Heavy Industry signed the Scottish Forth Bridge project with the Scottish General Contractor – FCBC Consortium. The bridge is a new order successfully signed by Zhenhua Heavy Industry on the basis of the successful manufacture and delivery of American steel bridges. It marks the “ star effect †of the world steel bridge with the highest technical content and the highest cost.
The project includes construction drawing design, material procurement, manufacturing, final assembly, painting, etc. of the steel structure of Flowserve Bridge. The total weight of the main steel structure is about 20,256 tons, and the total weight of the temporary steel structure is about 4,354 tons. The project started in 2011 and is scheduled to be completed in 2016 . After the completion of the Forth Bridge British hope for the 21st century landmark projects, and built in the 19th century and 20th century near the bridge's two Class A comparable.
In order to adapt to the rapidly growing traffic volume, the British government plans to build a new bridge at the Foss seaport. The new bridge is a three-tower cable-stayed bridge centered on the double cable plane , with a main span of (650+650) meters, spanning 2 The main channel. The design of the bridge is unique in that the main cable cross-spans a part of the stay cables to anchor and interlock in this way.
Recently, Zhenhua Heavy Industry signed the Las Vegas Ferris Wheel Steel Structure Project with American Bridge Company. The project consists of columns, bracing pillars, round steel and the shaft part, this is the first time Zhenhua Heavy steel construction services for the entertainment industry, the project is expected to be delivered in July 2012.
