Two typical methods of joint development

According to the topography and ore body storage conditions, it is sometimes necessary to use a combination of two main development lanes in the flat, vertical or inclined well development method to develop one or several ore bodies, which is called the joint development method.

1. Joint development method for flat and blind shafts

In the mountainous area, part of the ore body is above the ground level, while the lower part extends below the ground level; at this time, the upper part is opened with a flat weir, while the lower part is opened with a shaft. Figure 6-15 shows the joint development method for flat and blind shafts.

In the joint development of Pingyu and Shaft, blind shafts can be used, and clear shafts can also be considered. When the blind shaft is opened, the wellbore and the stone gate are short, but the underground yard and the hoisting chamber are needed. When the vertical and vertical development, the length of the wellbore and the stone gate is large, and the derrick is installed at the wellhead, but the tunneling is convenient. In the specific selection, it is necessary to make a final comparison based on the topographical geology and the occurrence conditions of the ore body.

Second, the joint development method of Ming shaft and blind shaft

At present, the vertical shaft lifting depth in China is about 500 ~ 600m , the deepest is not more than 1000m , and the greater the depth of the shaft, the power requirement for the lifting equipment is too large, and the lower the stone door is longer. Therefore, when the mining depth exceeds 500m , the joint development method may be considered, that is, the lower part of the upper part of the ore body is replaced with a blind shaft (when the lower part of the ore body is slowed down, the blind inclined shaft can also be used) (Fig. 6-16) . This can shorten the length of the stone gate and the development time, but it needs to be upgraded in two stages, and more than one section of transportation, which is easy to cause inconsistency between transportation and lifting. Therefore, when designing the development method, try to increase the depth of the first shaft.

In addition, if the ore body is found in the deep part , the original wellbore continues to be extended, and it is more reasonable to use the blind shaft (or blind inclined well) at this time .
