ZF's 2010 revenue is expected to reach 17.2 billion U.S. dollars

German auto parts supplier ZF (2010 revenue) expects ZERF revenue to reach 12.9 billion euros (about 17.2 billion U.S. dollars) in 2010, a 38% increase from 2009 year-on-year revenue.

The financial report published by ZF in mid-September 2010 showed that in the first eight months of 2010, ZF sales revenue rose by 40% year-on-year, from 5.8 billion euros in the same period in 2009 to 8.2 billion euros. At that time, ZF CEO Hans-Georg Härter expects ZF revenue will exceed 1.2 billion euros in 2010.

ZF also expects that ZF will completely turn around in losses in 2010. In 2009, ZF suffered a net loss of 421 million euros.

Härter said: “At the beginning of 2010, we absolutely did not expect to be able to do so quickly and completely restore profitability. Through various efforts in 2010, we reached a profit goal in advance and sales revenue will even exceed the highest value in 2007. In 2007, ZF sales revenue reached 12.65 billion euros; in 2008 sales revenue was 12.5 billion euros.
