A Brief Analysis of Import and Export of Engine Products in June 2011
According to statistics provided by the customs on imports and exports, edited by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the current analysis of the import and export of engine products in June 2011 is as follows:
First, the export of engine products
In June 2011, the export of engine products was 395,200 units, an increase of 38.82% over the same period of 2010; the export amount was 144 million US dollars, an increase of 97.70% compared with the same period in 2010.
From January to June, the accumulated export of engine products totaled 2.212 million units, an increase of 37.06% over the same period of 2010; the cumulative export value was US$823 million, an increase of 76.16% over the same period of 2010.
In June, the main export countries of engine products were: Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam, the Russian Federation, Turkey, the United States, South Korea, Nigeria, Egypt, Peru, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Second, the engine product import situation
In June 2011, engine products were imported to 109,500 units, a decrease of 15.59% from the same period in 2010; the import amount was 297 million US dollars, an increase of 24.43% over the same period of 2010.
From January to June, engine products were imported to 608,800 units, an increase of 23.26% over the same period of 2010; the cumulative amount of imports was US$1.579 billion, an increase of 21.81% over the same period of 2010.
In June, engine products were imported into major countries: Japan, South Korea, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Belgium, France, and India.
